Danica
is a Sidereal astrologer, whose interpreting and teaching work
is guided by the maxim Know Thyself, focused
on understanding & using astrology as a tool for self-knowledge and
self-development.
Born in eastern Serbia (on April 22nd 1983, in Zajecar, at 22:30h CEDT), as daughter of an astrologer father with broad interest in esotericism, philosophy and world religions, she was introduced to astrology, as well as various esoteric traditions from East and West, at a very early age. From 2002 till 2016 she resided in the cultural capitol of Serbia, the city of Novi Sad, where she earned the BA degree as Philosophy Teacher.
In 2007 she founded the non-profit NGO Astrouniverzum, which was short-lived, but influential in the local community, educating the public about Astrology and its application as a tool for self-understanding and development; from 2007 till relocating to California in 2016, she has been giving astrology courses and holding workshops in both Novi Sad and the country’s capitol, Belgrade.
In 2011 she started the Siderallia project, originally initiated with intention to primarily be spreading knowledge about Sidereal Astrology in the South-Slavic languages speaking area, and spontaneously developing over time into an educational project oriented to the global public.
During her years in the Los Angeles area (2016-2021) she held in-person classes and workshops in Southern and Northern California, worked privately with individual students, and held Online Courses for groups of international students.
Alongside the teaching work, Danica has been engaged in astrological research, and offers consult-interpretations for private individuals and organizations.
