MidPoint structurings: The Evolving Perspectives

... There are, naturally, many events (process-plateaus, with this either in Initiating or the Culminating sense) which happen on Earth and from-perspective-of-the-Earth appear as highly Very-Important, while from-perspective-of-the-Sun in relation to Earth & her processes, they show to be not even nearly of as much of significance. 

 And then, also, there are phases (period-tides) which from-perspective-of-the-Sun in relation to Earth *are* highly significant, whilst during the time these are transpiring the human species amongst the Earthlings may not at all be aware of anything whatsoever of some kind of a Huge Importance (for the processes on Earth herself) is undergoing its peak-unfolding.

AND then, there are such period-tides which, in-relation-to-Earth and her processes/events show as undeniably significant, in a focalized manner, both from-perspective-of-the-Earth & from-perspective-of-the-Sun. 

The easiest way to observe this -- and to do so comparatively, from both Geocentric & Heliocentric perspective -- is on the rhythm-level of what we here on Earth experience as one natural monthly-tidal-wave, from one to another Conjunction between the Sun & the Moon, and what from the Heliocentric view is the time-unit tidal-wave spanning from one until the next moment of the Moon being right-in-between the Earth and the Sun. 

Or, in other words, practically & more briefly put: by using the period of one-natural-month, each such commencing with the Soli-Lunar longitudinal conjunction-alignment, as the basic time-unit reference. 

These  Syzygy charts, of course, can from the Geocentric perspective be looked at in relation to some or another specific location on Earth, in order to see what this-or-that planetary function/"ergie" (or their combination) --- by being Mundanely-focalized via its spatial position within the "3-great-circles-crossed Grid" at the given Syzygy moment --- is getting especially emphasized during the pertinent month, and as something which is of relevance exclusively for that one considered specific location on Earth.

For the general Geo-Helio comparative observation, though, these planetary 'mundane positions' (or what is often also called their Angularity) is not something of importance, the perspective, when it comes to Earth, being that of: observing the harmonic rhythm-processes relevant for the wholeness-unit ( -- the wholeness of this one of the "organs", or "functions" within the Solar System) which is Terra. 

Both the Sun and the Earth being --- each of the two, of course, in its own, mutually *very* different, and overall quite unique way --- long-term-operative-"parts" or "faculties" (functional-aspect-wholes) of the Solar system,  the fundamental astrological "tool", in this regard, for discerning the tidal movements of the related, most-immediately relevant rhythm-processes, is the observation of the mutual configurations --- and especially: their Flux in time --- shown by the planetary Midpoints-structuring. 

The fundamental simplicity of these  planetary-structuring compositions, showing their mutual inter-relatedness, is such that it requires no special "interpreting" effort of any kind --  even for an entirely-new-beginner in Astrology, there's hardly anything mysterious or "hard to grasp" about the basic notion of *a trio of bodies, positioned so that there is a pair and right-in-between them is a third*, which is the verbal description of a Direct Midpoint  mutual inter-connectedness that with symbols is represented as: 

"such-&-such" [the in-between factor] = "such-&-such" / "such-&-such" [the two other factors, which with the exactly-between-them one form the given specific trio], like, for example: 

Ve = Sa/Ur.

Furthermore:
 it is not at all a this or that  "interpretation" (as in a situation of: one human reading/interpreting an astro-chart of another human to them) which we're looking to "come to", or to "come up with" by looking at these charts with their Midpoints-structuring in the comparative way!

 Rather than to some verbal-explanation, this observation is oriented-to & navigated-by what is a much simpler process: looking, in order to See the existing inter-connectedness-combinations of the main operative-faculties of the most-immediate wider space-time-environment, relevant as such both for-the-Earth, as well as for-the-Sun, and pertinent to a given time-space tide/period/"instance".

Undoubtedly, for the one approaching such a combination-picture, there already exist certain specific words and ideas within their conscious & subconscious mind, which are automatically attached to the symbol-glyphs seen, when seen; and these came to be thus formulated & related to the astrological, planetary glyphs through one's peculiar experiences of information-exposure thus far.

Some of them may be fully-accurately-fitting to what's the actual natural-functionality of the given body, and in the way that this can be in an adequate way applied to an analysis like this; some of them far less so, and the most of them tend to actually be entirely "off".
Various psychological & experiential factors influence this process of verbal-formulation related to the meaning of a given planetary-factor, and for how-long, in terms of Earthly years during the given person's lifetime, has one been using such a set of verbal-ideas in connection to a given symbol, is not somehow "by itself a guarantee" that these ideas are actually *fitting*, in the sense of: accurately fitting, in a wider (and more-universally-applicable) way ( -- than some personal-human-related immediacy of appearance), to what is the deepest, most fundamental: at-the-very-root of it, as one of main Solar-system's operative-bodies, intrinsic uniqueness of the natural-functionality of the given such-&-such astrological factor.

The practically healthiest approach, therefore, is based on what can be called a "three-fold stream" - to use that, however perhaps funny sounding, as a dynamic visual depiction here for practical purposes - such that one is ongoingly internally "positioned", simultaneously, in: 

---> openness for gathering information about the astrological planetary-factors through a wide variety of *diverse* reading-sources on the subject, with considering what is encountered in each of these as: potentially-valuable or potentially worthless (regardless of "how old" or "how widely-known" the given "source" may be!) depending on *what it shows to be in one's own practical Observation during a longer period of time*; --- WHILE ALSO, and this is of *huge importance*:

--->  with full open-mindedness, from the perspective of: *what is it here to be Learned, what New and not-seen/known thus-far for me are the Life's unfoldings showing via this such-&-such ?* approaching the practical experiences, one's own life-events, and the noticed processes within environment --- as a continual practice, with neutral approach to events and the Life-appearances as such: not, as they're encountered, with automatically & immediately labeling-them/determining this or that "their astrological category", but with intentional & conscious effort to: be Present-with the given process/appearance itself, as it is, whatever-it-is, from the internal actual condition of openness-of-question, an intentionally-nurtured *automatic readiness to Learn from* that which comes-in-experience, rather than the *automated readiness to "see" it in a determined/defined/already-known way* by the subconsciously-based and from-therein-working default-tendency mechanisms of immediately attaching to it one or another narrowed, very-specific idea - for the sake of thus feeling-safe in encountering-a-something-already-"known", instead of the often far-more-disturbingly-feeling alternative of internally firmly "residing" in the openness-of-question condition, for which everything encountered, and however there may be some features of what appears as already-seen-and-known to it, fundamentally contains a wholly-Unknown in itself -- arriving therefore within our scope of perception, and experience, exactly so that *this* becomes revealed!.

AND while also:

---> proceeding thus, with being fully willing and determined *to Learn* [not to show/present oneself as already-knowing-something in an ultimately-defining-way, either to own-self or to others!] moving toward thus coming to actually *Know* what can be at-the-given-time known, from *one's own Observation*: what various different experiential factors, processes and practically-noticed phenomena some given astrological symbol is fully functionally serving as a unified-representation of,  presenting invariably thus itself to be *in-retrospect*, *after* the initial neutral, naked presence-with and observation-of these processes/events, which has been *thereafter* accompanied by an earnest, as deep and as long as possible, meditation on the various verbal-formulations and ideas related to this or that planet -- with continuity to it, and approached as: "okay, in light of the unfolding-and-evolving Experience, this such-and-such idea is potentially-valuable, and potentially worthless, or may even be harmful for the further Learning process! --- and  with examining them thus Anew, and anew - unflinchingly. 

AND, making your own Notes (with dates to them!) of this journey, about both the processes, and the insights.  

This, certainly, both itself *is*, as well as it necessitates, at least *some* (prior to beginning with the Astrological observations as such) deeper, done with all-solemnity (and without any doubt to it *very hard*) work. 

It requires training of the whole of one's psycho-biological capacities (not *solely* the intellectual/thinking ones, but the emotional and physical too --- with the emotional *especially*, extremely important, for the intellectual ones to at all stand-a-chance to be further in-a-healthy-way developing....) in order to in-practice be continually performed in such a way so that the *actually* unbiased, the-least-possibly blindfolded by these or that personal tendencies, interests, fears, desires, etc, Observation can be transpiring --- conducted, and thus *persistently*, and solely thus! - with the adequate psychological both Openness & Neutrality, as well as capacity-for what is: Looking-in-order-to-See, instead of Looking-in-order-to thus-Gain/take-something via this process (to "obtain" - a "knowledge", an insight/information, etc). 

Such work is not "for everyone" --- it is only for those who truly internally feel it to be own undeniable imperative for their approach, to not just the Astrological, but simply any Observation of scientific kind, by giving to it, in wholeness of what they are and do (and doing so ongoingly, throughout-time), one's own veritably *utmost-best*. 

It requires such inherent internal Respectful perception of what is Science and what is Learning, which values and honors the processes of authentically Moving-toward and of Revealing what is true, beyond what's one's own personal feeling-of-safety, or feeling-of-self-satisfaction, or feeling-of-comfort at some or another given period, or one's-own current personal bio-physical existence which one calls own-life. 

It, at the very root, requires such an I-Thou pair-relationship presence-in the living-the-life-on-Earth which has a Third in it, the Value of which far overarches any segmentary-appearance of the "I" (the-experiencer/observer-point) or the "You" (the-otherness in the experiencing-process, the what-is-Seen), or their mutually-defining interplay as a self-feeding enclosed-loop-polarity, the sole "value" of which is in nothing outside of itself as such and the sole "functionality-purposefulness" of which is for itself to simply proceed -- exactly-as-it-is, with its dual mutually-polarized factors entirely occupied by the futility of thus simply "ping-ponging", for as-long-as-it-can.

... This Movement including the Midle-positioned, and so that it's Overarching (either encompassing, or inherently refining-&-uplifting, and evolvingly-prompting for-the-duo pertinent to it) both and each of the included polarized sides,  is open-ended:
every plateau of a  completion-phase to it that arrives, is, by itself, immediately not "followed-by" but *it itself is* the entry-way into the new, the-Next phase: a qualitatively different-yet learning-openness, being-the-question, movement-stage. 

... There is no "reward" to it either than this - the very Movement itself, as it is: there is not some ultimate-crowning-result, after which this Movement itself comes to cease-to-be. 
For, it is a Movement that is neither fearfully-running-away-from nor hungrily-running-fervently-toward, a something or other:  its inherent most-fundamental rhythm is the peaceful-dance-of-Joy together-with, in-presence-of, the Truth as the "third": that which goes-through all the mutually-polarized duality, and which overarches each of the dual, polarized sides --- being as such mutually "encountered" at any point, by either of the two-sides, that can in any way thus be experienced ....

... So, with that being said, let's now -- not "back", but Forward! -- take a directly-focused look again at this our subject: the Midpoints in an astro-chart structure-composition, and with consideration as well of the wider inquiry about approaching this as a tool, in practically usable sense, of comparative observation of the Geocentric and Heliocentric monthly-period related charts.

Aside from the what's the-very-fundamental structure-simplicity of a single Midpoint as such, with each chart being observed in its entirety, with its "details"/parts taken together as composing-aspects, all of them, of the one single unit-wholeness, the multitude of such three-fold mutual-interconnectedness clusterings, in a tightly-interwoven manner as these show up in a Midpoint-structuring listing -- may indeed very-well appear as an utterly-complex "something":

for each chart that's thus being observed, in order to See what *the whole picture* of the given structuring-composition "depicts", or Communicates (either with or without using some or another peculiar set of already-attached-to-the-symbols, with-pre-defined as already-fully-understood, verbally-formulated meanings ....), it is not enough to merely discern one or another part of it, make a note of only few of the Midpoints existing therein and therefore consider it a "job done" -- taking this partial, fragmented approach as something fully, scientific-inquiry-wise, "adequately fitting".

--- Beyond doubt, an appearance that easily tends to give headaches not only to beginners, but to the long-experienced and well-versed in Observation astrologers, too!

So, what to do?

First and foremost: do keep looking-on --- without shying-away from checking as many charts as you possibly can and are naturally feeling-drawn-to be doing so!!
--- And keep making notes. ---  With equal Open-questioning calmness-of-focus determination, equal proper-attention and internal orientation, to each "detail", each "part this and that" as these, over time, come to the forefront of awareness --- all-the-while, not, during this, losing touch, internally departing-away-from, the central, primary question-openness  --- as an yet-unanswered, not-yet-known, but certainly, without any doubt to it, such that it *is* answerable at-its-time-for-this due!! --- of: "what is it here that the wholeness present reveals?"

When the step-ways (all with their by-ways!) of the inquiry-path are thus truly, in practical sense, well-trodden, each earnestly taken with adequate attention-focus, as you simply go-no, continuing with the to-each-step/detail adequate approach, the answers for what has been left *to-further-proceed-going-with* as an still-open-question (while the "closure" to its open-spiral-curve not being sought-for with a haste nor any kind of some fervent-desire-urge to "get-hold-of" it) by themselves spontaneously start emerging. 

And: thereafter, whether it be after some more- or a les-so lengthy time, do not hesitate to thoroughly revisit what has at one point perhaps emerged as so fully-and-wholly entirely discerned, with such a pitch-clarity that there's-"absolutely-nothing-further"-to-it  which would now be of Learning-value to, in the wholehearted openness-of-Learning manner, approach anew. 

... There is a pictograph image-symbol in the Yi Jing,  蹇, which, verbally-formulated in English language, conveys the meaning of "The foot utmost-trained", of which I am being reminded now, while writing these lines.

Is the foot-utmost-trained some such a foot that has undergone by-quantity the-greatest-possible (compared to all other feet that it could be compared) mileage ? ... Isn't the foot-utmost-trained such that it must be verily *the*-most-exhausted, the most weary of-them-all, foot !? ... Ah, ah -- perhaps, perhaps!   --- One would need to have-and-be-using such a one, in order to very-practically, and without any place for uncertainty, be in the full-actual-knowing about it, nay? :)

 --- But, this is for sure: the HOW has it been trained [not in regard of the terrain -- these vary, and the utmost-trained foot *must* pass through all of them as they come up, pleasantly-looking more or less, unwalkable-seeming in-full or only to-an-extent... but: in regards of the *how* of the-movement-of-the-foot itself!] is of *enormous*, one'd even dare say, of veritably all-important, both Value and the overall-significance:
the properly well-trained foot, capable of elegantly-smooth, sustained, dance-like swift movement, spontaneously becomes only stronger & stronger over time, simply by the continuous activity -- with the quality of it as it is -- that it performs --- so it by no means is a foot tending easily to become exhausted by the appearance of the ever-more, ever yet-a-new, opening-up of the pathway-steps before it, as what is being encountered-by and engaged-into, in its peculiar harmonious, swift dancing-movements!

And, indeed, it is not the *quantity* of miles, as such, which makes a foot to be the-utmost-trained! --- All of it is about the: *HOW* (the exactly *quality* of it) have those miles which have-been-trodden, have been thus gone-through. 

... In order to train a foot thus actually adequately, properly-well, to train it in what's ---  for itself, as well as for everything it may encounter while it moves --- the best-possible way, one has to: know the given foot exceptionally well (so that no doing-with-it something contrary to its nature is performed!), and along with this, invariably, to: Love the given foot, with such a loving which is seeking nothing but to, plainly, enjoy in the sight of the Beauty of it, seeing it at every its visible tiny-step-movement-instance, simply being the-happiest-foot it can possibly be. 

... And: to proceed Learning about it, with and through *each* of its steps-performed, however tiny or "insignificant" some of these may at some moments appear! --- for it naturally changes in-the-going, by the going, and to miss to timely notice something of it (any of it, really!), may not only incapacitate the further training process, in regards to what's its-unique-utmost-best, but may easily even entirely bring not only the further training-capacities and that process, but the whole movement of the foot as such, to the-end.

The processes of evolution of Life on Terra Solis include the process of evolution of the Anthropos species' perspective ( - while it is living, , in the Earthly-physical-bodies --- and with fullness-of-presence in- & to- this --- *on Earth*!), with what's the primary "situated-ness" or centeredness-of-the-observing-consciousness naturally coming to undergo a shift: from what's collectively thus far been the most-accustomed & *exclusively*-geo-centric perspective, to the new one - characterized by continuous widening, via each the-Next-Step ... the perspective for which the experientially-known Wholeness of the observable-*Thou*-horizon of its *I*-hub-centeredness is, thus further on-goingly, ever-more-clearly Seen, & ever-more-deeply understood in actuality of Its ceaseless Expansion. 

Not by departing-the-Earth, not "despite" the Earth, not "against" the Earth.
*With* the Earth.
The Dance of her indeed doesn't even in-the-slightest, in any way, lack Perfection.

It is with much disbalance-of-thinking that one may be easily prone to miss this, believing the matter to be some kind of a reasoning-issue! -- While the whole "secret" isn't a secret at all: shamelessly, with full-naked-openness it reveals itself to the body's-wholeness attunement of Hearing-&-Sight able and daring to endure -- hub-centered thus with a childlike presence -- the flooding-river-akin mighty continuity of the Celestial-Streaming moving *through* the heart.

Adequately, successfully driving a vehicle - any vehicle - requires such harmonious cooperation between the two sides included (the vehicle, and the faculty operating it) so that each functions to its utmost-best in accordance with its own nature, within the circumstances of a given environment; this is the core process depict-expressed, in the primary Vital way, by the Proto-Indo European verbal root form *yewg-, “to harness, join”, the later above-the-surface development and further refract-reflection of which we see in the concept of “ehwaz” (“ehwo”, or “eh”) within the Germanic lore. 

The best drivers do not perceive the vehicle they’re operating as a thing, but the approach is that of a Loving-Presence to what the other-side Is; the other side, vehicle itself, is not seen as an own-tool, it is approached as a vital-otherness, the relating with which is based on a collaborative-respect. (The best-functioning vehicles, thus, come to be those which not solely are qualified by one or another set [or the whole of it] of their operational-capacities as highly-developed, but they can in truth be considered as such -- the actually, practically utmost-best-functioning-vehicles -- exclusively within the context of the exact nature & quality of their relation with the driver.)

These “secrets” are intimately known to well-experienced horse-riders, solo-flight pilots, the most-skillful car-drivers and other drivers of such vehicles where a Pairing, in specific, is what essentially functionally defines the riding-process. There is no heart-beat, a sound, any kind of frequency whatsoever, that transpires within the one side of the Duo which is not in immediate-attunement of connection with its other side; the vehicle may indeed for everyone else look like “a machine”, but for the driver, it is a Living-otherness, in mutually-enjoyable togetherness with which the given peculiar kind of moving is happening.

And the situation is quite different with those “rides” where the vehicle’s driving faculty isn’t a single individual, but a team (be it only two, or more) of people; in these cases, the whole team functions as a single-unit, which, as such -- a greater complexity-based composure of multiple “factors” -- operatively Pairs with the vehicle; and this complex-composure which is the driving-faculty must function  perfectly-harmoniously within itself as-a-single-whole, in order for the entirety of the process to be transpiring smoothly & successfully.

For a very long-distance journey requiring a refined, high-degree of skill, and especially if it’s of an into-the-yet-unexplored kind of venturing, two factors are of primary importance:
>> that each member of the driving-side team is as closely and as deeply as possible, experientially familiar with the particular vehicle to be used, in its operative-mode; and
>> that all the members composing the driving-faculty team are capable of such perfect-pitch mutual alignment that at-all-times during the drive they functionally operate as-One, in relation to the vehicle itself.

The teams for long journeys of this sort, therefore, take their own time to be formed, and when it is a well-organized venture, whatever effort may be needed for it is put into ensuring that this driving-team is superbly-well composed; it is a matter of at least equal importance as is the proper full functionality of the vehicle as such. 

 
With simple practical awareness of these ”technicalities”- dynamics, it is easy to see the basic, built-into the project at its very onset, weaknesses of the flight-around-the-globe-at-equator venturing attempted with the Lockheed Electra 10E Special in 1937:

> the journey was undertaken in a new, just-built aircraft, and not actually properly (i.e. fully adequately for the context of this specific kind of journey) attested-in-use before;
> the whole process was put into motion within less than a year of planning and organization;
> and the two-membered team was so composed that the person in position of the pilot didn’t actually have experience of successful long flying journeys functioning as a pilot flying-member-of-a-team, only the experience of successful solo piloting.

-- That in March 1937, just before the 1st leg as intended was to begin, the two flying-members of the team, Earhart & Noonan, were at the Oakland airport “spending hours scribbling [their] autographs across souvenir covers” in order to collect money for the trip -- speaks more than just a little of the conditions within which the whole project was being set forth!

It, in brief, came to transpire not as an authentic venture-of-Joy, but primarily a venture of Fight, an endeavor of beating-the-odds against not-succeeding: a daring movement not nearly as well-prepared as the nature of such movement requires it to be - a hasty gulping-grasp of reaching-for more, rather than a harmonious expanding-motion arising from the factual mature-readiness for it. -- And, consequently, so did the “fruits of the labor”, in due time, unfold themselves accordingly.

What can astrology reveal to our sight about the events of June of that year, and the very first days of July, together with culmination of the process in the disappearance --- never-thereafter-to-be-found, nor further anything about it to become known --- of the aircraft & its flying-crew?


The data with which we can work here is limited; Fred Noonan’s birth time isn’t available to be found online, so what we’re left with are Amelia Earhart’s charts (data available via astrodatabank).  

To check the accuracy of what’s been recorded as birth-time for Amelia, 23:30 CST, I did a detailed look-up into seven other periods of her life - those with well-recorded events, and with info about her locations relevant for this astrological inquiry available to be found; based on this, I am confident this given round half-hour is the actual accurate birth time.

One of her period charts pertinent to the disappearance time has un-determinable location ( the LS 6/11/1937, which set while they were flying from Gao, Mali toward the Fort-Lamy, Chad -- the Leg 13 of flight, taking about two days in whole ), but fortunately,  for the rest of it -- the pertinent annual chart, SL 6/3/1937 and the biweekly dLS 6/26/1937 -- we do have workable information.

We also have information about the precise timing of when the whole project begun - the first flight which has officially set off this around-the-globe-at-equator journeying venture: the “Leg 00” flight from Oakland to Honolulu; albeit it didn’t get to proceed as intended from thence on, and its direction thereafter was decided on being changed, this is the de-facto chart of the practical Beginning of the whole travel-undertaking, the initial movement analogous to the moment of a biological being’s emergence-from-womb, so, after examining Amelia’s own charts, it’s worthwhile taking a look at what this chart has to reveal, as well.

AMELIA’S CHARTS


On the very morning when the pertinent annual, SL period, commenced, exactly 14 minutes of clock time before the chart was to set, Amelia and Fred entered the Electra, on their departure from Caripito, Venezuela; they were moving South-West, and at 07:02:16h VET were in the area above Maturin, Venezuela. With them in motion and the precis coordinates of their position shifting from one clock-minute to the next, we can not rely on the to-the-minute-of-arc exactness of the angular planets’ positions here, so are simply looking at the what’s the angular combination present --- which planet are being focalized by their position in the area of Angles, and what is their mutual interrelatedness.

Aside from this single aspect, the very sharp by orb dynamic aspect-of-the-cross with the natal Mercury, this Moon is not tied via aspect with any of the SL planets, nor in a direct manner connected with a SL Midpoint, and has solely one additional tight-orbed connection:

The angular planetary combo communicates the central experiental-tone of the year is that of turbulence and dispersion/disruption; there is heaviness-of-vexing-tension, emphatically present in the whole of the main themes of quality of the tides, and there is nothing of agreeable, or otherwise easing or smoothing nature to go with it, in the picture.
And the specific SL Moon’s configuration shows the internal details:
by aspect, its position brings forth into focus the Mercury-ergie of Amelia’s natal: it’s the tense-and-dynamic expression of the Representation-function of herself as an individual being (rx Me), that which she in whole symbolizes/represents for her environment, by her existence (including all the verbal and intellectual capacities of her psyche);
and by the direct Midpoint contact, we see the further, deeper-in, “background” of this: it’s about what her Presence as such (as an individually-living being) is structuring/organizing [s Moon = rx Sun/Saturn].

 Given that this is the very final chart of what is known about them, it is highly fortunate, from astrologer’s perspective, that they were on the ground, between flights, when it has set, thus allowing for greatest possible reliability of precision when it comes to the Angularity orbs.

Among the 17 charts (not counting the two that we’re looking at here) that I examined for Amelia’s life-periods and various events, there were only 2 other charts bringing forth into focus, by their Angularity, the Eris-Sedna combo:
- the quarterly dSL 12/4/1920 -- which is the period when she “took her first ride in an airplane, with pilot Frank Hawks” [A.E.’s online biography on Purdue website];
- and the qSL 3/3/1937 -- the quarter during which this around-the-globe adventure itself begun!!
 
Yet: in each of those two the Er-Se presence is emphasized in a different way within the combo-clustering of the whole, than what is the case here, and: neither of them features the rx Sedna-Eris duo mutually configured by aspect as the sole angularity factor from the Natal side, nor is there in any of them included the doubled-presence -- of both transiting and natal -- Eris-Sedna, coming-forth angular mutually-configured, as a pair (either by mundane “aspect” or by forming a MP with the Angle) as it is in this dLS.

With that being said -- for a wider perspective of the “working” of the Er-Se planetary duo as a combo in relation to the period-charts of this Nativity -- we’re taking note of the fact that the unique presence of this particular duo within the Angularity picture here is:
> the primary, very-central theme of the period; and:
> within this as the context, there is a specific focus of emphasis on tr Eris: not only is it the-closest-by-orb among all of the included angularity-factors, but is also additionally emphasized via the LS’s Sun “touching” on it with the 08’-orbed square.

--- That exactly this duo, Eris and Sedna together as a planetary combo, keeps showing up as prominent in one or another way in period charts for events which get to be - either in whole, or regarding some of their most important aspects - referred to as “under mysterious circumstances” after they’ve transpired, indeed is a fascinating phenomenon, for the astrologer witnessing the appearance of it as a pattern! -- But, what is it that this may mean!? Can we discern something about these processes & events, otherwise hidden from immediate sight, with having this astrological information?

It would be ungrateful to attempt to come up with an one, simplified, formula-kind of verbal composition, intended to be applicable in some “universally defining” manner to what is a richly and uniquely nuanced diversity of how the processes of Life bring into expression a single pair-combo (any of them, this one included) of planetary ergies. -- What we certainly can do, thus approaching without defile-damaging our ongoing learning process, is: start with attention onto the essential dynamics pertaining to each of the two “sides” of the pair of planets included, and then consider the whole of it - whilst keeping in our perspective the context of the given combo’s appearance, both the most relevant factors of the pertinent astrological context, as well as the context of the known Life-manifested actualities.

The key-words that emerged from my observation & practical experience, as verbal notes “capturing” the central themes of the functionality-wholes (the “organs” of the Solar-system suite’s body) known as the astrological planets Sedna and Eris, are:

> Se:
Rectification;
Precision-exactness in Justice-execution;
the movement of Root-based Balance;
the primordial-memory function

> Er:
Dispersion;
Fractalization;
the multiplication-of-one-factor as its own self-propagation;
discord and/or disruption tendency


For the Midpoint of these two, phrasing the combination, for practical purposes of analysis, generally as “dispersion of rectification” or “rectification of dispersion” has shown itself applicable across wide range of chart-types and peculiar “scenarios” where it appears - be it Natal astrology, the period-charts, the progressions, or the Synastry.  
 
With the Midpoints, we have the specific situation of Mutuality between the two factors present forming the given MP, so that the essential quality of the inner dynamic, at the base of each such a composition, includes in itself the what we can call “both-ways stream”; this function-of-pairing is then observed as it gets to be focalized via the Third: the planet whose position focalizes exactly the “mutuality-point”, the “simultaneity of working-in-togetherness” of the given two --- and it is via this, and with consideration of everything else compositionally included in rest of the structuring within a given chart, that we get to more clearly see the How, the in-what-way, does the Pairing primarily “lean toward”, tending to be practically operative (expressed) with the strongest inherent direction-orientation. -- In some cases, we do encounter such operation-tendency which does, actually, show itself in working with equal strength of expressivity “both ways” as its primary-dynamic-orientation; but these show up rarely, coming more often as an exception, rather than a rule; also, which exactly are the Two planets included naturally “colors” this operational-orientation-quality of the whole pair; and, lastly, the astrological context itself - whether it is a Natal chart, or it’s Synastry, etc. - must be considered, for the adequate approach to the analysis.

When it is the via-aspect pairing of a planetary duo, instead of the Midpoint, the situation is slightly different, making it practically much easier to discern what is the inherent-tendency of operational expressive-functioning in each given case; the specific type of aspect as such is already informational, in this regard, and how the Angularity and the aspect-connections of each side of the pairing “affect” (speak of the “coloring” of) the composition in a rather direct way further clarify the conditions.


In the Amelia’s dLS observed here, we see both of the above: the transiting Se-Er duo is a MP pairing, focalized by the chart’s Angle, whilst the natal Se-Er comes up as a conjunction, within the mundane-distribution framework; and here, it’s within the whole of the picture such that it’s fairly easy to discern the finer-point nuances: with just a simple look at the listed central factors of the chart as they are, we see it is Eris, and in specific, Eris from the transiting side, carrying-forth the focalization-spin of the combo. -- In other words: it is the disruption/dispersion/fractalization “side” of the Se-Er duo “taking the lead” in expressiveness here, and, in practical sense, for the experience of the Natus, the whole clustering-combo depicts something that is primarily a dispersion/disruption process, of the root-level rectifying/balancing quality -- coming to transpire as a “working” of deeper mutual alignment between environmental-tides and Natus’ own internal tides, and with the disruption-initiative in it (while fundamentally, essentially equally-present from both sides) being stronger in its tendency-to-manifest from the environmental, than from the Natal “wholeness-unit”, in their interplay-of-presence.


On the day of disappearance, July 2nd 1937 during which the last radio-contact between Electra’s crew and the rest of the team was recorded, at 10:00 h local time of Lae, Papua New Guinea, where they took off, the progressed Moon of Amelia’s SL - from the position 4*29’ Pisces in the chart itself and being configured solely with the Natal Mercury and the Sun/Saturn Midpoint as mentioned above - came to 5*34’ Pisces, forming the following configurations:

Amelia’s Natal chart as such has four angular factors:
Chiron (DC 4*01’),
Sedna (AC 4*51’),
Sun (ND 1*03’) and
Lunar Node (Caput on ZN 2*33’),
with the Sun-Chiron, Sun-Node and Chiron-Node being connected by aspects (ecliptical T-square), forming thus one of the most important configuration-clustering within the chart [ = all three are angular, and these aspects are with the Sun itself].

What is not immediately visible at first glance is the further aspect-interconnectedness of these two, Chiron and the Node, with the rest of the chart factors:
> Chiron’s closest dynamic aspects, by orb, are:
qnt Pluto (22’), oct Eris (52’) and then square Node (1*50’), while
> the Lunar Node’s closest dynamic aspects by orb are:
qnt Saturn (02’), oct Neptune (28’), qnt Uranus (56’) and oct Eris (57’).

Summarized, we see the Node here tightly dynamically related with the Saturn-Uranus, by the star-based aspects, and with Eris-Neptune and then Chiron, by the cross-based aspects; and it is not just the Chiron-Node-Sun trio, nor the four of the angular factors together (these three, plus Sedna), but the whole of this, within the internal structuring of the chart, together with Sun/Moon sq Sedna (32’) and the Eris/Uranus sq Sun (30’), Pluto/Eris sq Sun (41’) configuration of planets with the Direct Luminary-related Midpoints, that makes for the primary “skeleton” of the unique composition of this Nativity.

Taking this into consideration makes it easier to see in what way have had the factors which were brought to the fore and emphasized by the Period charts, together with the related progressed-Moon of the SL configurations on 7/2/1937 as the specific day - layer by layer - come into clustering together, to bring-to-a-head the interwoven threading of what at superficial glance may seem as some extremely-complex, chaotically-looking multiplicity, but is, at more careful observation, revealed to be a relatively simple single one, river-akin, process-threading operative during this particular period.

The whole adventure of this around-the-globe-at-equator trip begun on 3/17/1937 at 16:37 PST, in Oakland, CA.  As they took off from the ground, thus setting the process in motion, the following combination of planets came into focus by their angular position:

Within the 60-degree-dial, which I find practically most useful for this kind of observation, the Midpoints picture of the chart includes no contact of either Mars nor Neptune with a planetary Pairing-combo, solely the Moon --- of these three angular factors -- is thus compositionally involved with the rest of the chart; the full list of its Midpoints:

After seeing what Amelia’s charts show, and especially with retrospectively knowing the quality of the general development, all with the initial, right-after-the-onset, turbulence of it, and subsequent maturation into its own peculiar finis, of this venturing project, neither of these planetary sub-pictures -- what the Angularity shows and what the Lunar Midpoint compositional configuration shows -- nor the whole of it taken together, comes as much of a surprise.

This is not the kind of “entity” for which the Period-charts can be utilized; so, it’s a simple inquiry into what the -- pertinent to the disappearance-time -- Secondary Progressed Moon and the transits-to-Radix as such, might have to say.

Of these, only the Eris-Jupiter exists - and is also within 1* orb - in the Radix itself; it was at 54’ separating there, and with Eris’ moving rhythm & pace, at this time we see it having come into the sharp focalization of 03’ orb.

In this whole list - with only 6 planetary dynamic-aspect active-touch pairings - four of them are the star-based aspects, the quintiles, two the cross-based ones (a square and an octile); and, within this, all of the very-closest by-orb ones are the quintiles.

With awareness of the key-words for Jupiter: accrual; established-circularity; cult[ure]; quantity/size-as-value; enclosure/”box”; and those for Chiron: skill; pride-of-honor; the-overarching-aiming, from the aspect culminating precis to 00*00’ on the morning of this day, tr Jupiter quintile rx Chiron, if we’d be looking at these in-advance, prior to the events transpiring and without knowing what kind of eventitude in specific may come to be happening, we would not miss to note that:
>> for the given Radix for which the transits are examined, this is the day which specifically focalizes the utmost-fullness-of-circularity-condition related to the skillfulness/overarching-function of the “nativity”;
and that this is immediately followed, via tightness-of-orb, by:
>> the transiting Eris (dispersion/fragmentation/disruption) in the instantaneously-creative manner being tied with the Jupiter of the Rx (accrual, enclosure, etc), and then,

There is no transiting Mars touching with a cross-based-aspect some of the Rx factors, so a sudden sharp/intense release-of-energy characteristic for this kind of Mars’ transiting presence ( -- for example, something that would come as attacking/violating, in experience from the Nativity’s perspective) isn’t something to be expected; there is unequivocally a structural-level-related (over)turn of the thus-far-established conditions portrayed by the whole combo and the aspects’ orbs, yet this is something coming to transpire on this day primarily with a smoothness-quality, rather than with the explosiveness, to it.
--- By looking only at these astrological factors as such, and without having any other information whatsoever about the practical actualities of the given “nativity”, we would, of course, not be able to say based on this alone by what means/specifics exactly these “experiences” for the Radix would to come to unfold.

But, with the simple honesty of astrological-factors-only based perspective, we would not -- for we could not -- exclude the potential for the Radix “expiring” within the time framework of the few days on either side of this date: along with these peculiarities of the tr-to-rx combinations of factors operative, and including the specific ones peaking on this day, the Secondary Progressed Moon of the chart was, on July 2nd: at 27’ separating of octile with the Rx Pluto, and 44’ applying octile with the transiting Pluto; during those about 7 weeks of the emphasized Plutonian presence via octile-connection with the progressed Moon, it’s easy to mark the period of days when this Moon is simultaneously within 60’-of-arc orb with both, and within this, to note the enter-exit moments of the 30’ orb with each, as well as then, with consideration of this, mark the shorter-timeframe tides, such as the daily-level focalization of transits, and to thus get to “pinpoint” the days during which the definite promise of the transformative-self-annihilation of the Plutonian in experience for this Radix -- having been “set-up” to come to unfold during this time from the very moment of themselves as a “natus” having emerged-into-existence -- will go through exactly those kind of experiential peaking-wave phases which, by their qualities and their unique combination-compositions, allow for the utmost-possible-fullness of practically “delivering” on this promise.

In order to Learn about the wider Nature’s tidal-rhythms that astrology “deals with”, in relation to how these are expressed/manifest through an individual’s life-experience (events), we can benefit but a little from a fragmented perspective, looking only here and there into one or another isolated event (perhaps with intent to “collect statistical data”), focusing on a single chart or two, or a few-factors from one given chart.

It is through observing the sequence of period charts, and looking at each this or that specific event/sub-period within the wider framework-context of the individual tidal-rhythms (in the sense of practical, experiential stream-of-time) to which they belong-to, that we actually get to learn how these rhythms represented by astrological factors “work”.

In this article, we will examine the life-events/periods of Lena Christ, whose well-enough documented online biography, together with the well-recorded birth data, make for a good study case for illustrating this approach. -- If we knew nothing whatsoever about events, and have only seen this annual chart, we’d know something comes up for the Native during this period which has an, with irrevocability and profoundness-of-depth to it, an all-swiping effect on their life and psyche - in a “no-mercy” way pushing them to very quickly “rise to the occasion” by an intense growing-maturation effort (which includes facing-directly in its full nakedness that which is the harshest in the experience).
 
From the specific Lunar aspects involved and their orbs, we see there’s a tremendous both emotional and physical impact of it, the Natus is in some way explicitly, experientially, being-attacked, this coming suddenly by the development of circumstances (s Chiron, Mars, Eris), and with a strong potential for tendency/orientation from their side toward escaping, or getting entirely absorbed-into, rather than directly-facing, the what’s-going-on (rx Neptune is tied to the SL moon within under 1* of orb, whilst rx Uranus, albeit also present, is the least strong by orb among all of the active aspects of this Moon).

This year brough the culmination of the general experiential development-direction thus far, and, along with that, also a definite turn - a new step for the Natus, her movement out of the constrained conditions of the immediate domestic situation, and into exposure-to and engagement with the wider social environment.
Seeing no solution, in a definite turn toward getting-out, a choice that requires both skill and “cold-blooded” courage was made (observe the four closest by orb Natal planets angular in the chart!), by her slitting own wrists, in the household’s cellar; but, instead of departure from the incarnation, this led to the opening-up of conditions into departure from the strict-enclosure of the immediate family environment: instead of having bled to death, she was life-saving-timely found by the step-father, and later during the year begun working at a Tourist Restaurant in Munich - from which point on her overall life conditions shifted toward pronouncedly different and, in her own experience, significantly better.

We see the double presence of Eris among the angular planets, both tr and rx (with the tr one being much stronger by orb, and also involved, by aspects, in the specific manner with the radix cluster of closest-angular planets), together with the pronounced presence of Jupiter during this period ( - whilst Saturn is entirely absent from the foreground & the central themes of the picture). Note how the Midpoint of radix Eris and tr Moon with the Descendent, along with how the tr Eris touches, with mundane ‘aspects’, on the natal trio of Chi-Me-Ju, is so poignantly descriptive of the events: the sudden Eridian move by the Natus (toward getting-out) being met by the environmental Luna, in the specific manner focalizing these two, as a combo, marking one of the major themes of the year, and this within the picture of the SL Moon itself being involved with only two planets by aspect during the year, the rx Lunar Node and the transiting Jupiter - of which the dynamic, cross-based aspect with the tr Jupiter is 22’ wide, while also being the-closest-by-orb structural factor in the whole of the chart’s composition!

Note also how the peculiar picture-composition of the chart reflects the experience of the youth (she turned 19 at the very end of October of the calendar 1900) getting engaged into working at the Tourist Restaurant, with the exposure to visitors & travelers that this brought, a colorful stream of new & different people - with their language, culture etc. - from outside of the framework of her immediate local environment, with all the natural enriching-&-improving expansion qualities (experiential aspects) of it. The transiting Sun angular, is clustered here together with transiting Mercury ( - and no other tr planets, aside from these two, are focalized via angularity) --- in a sharp contrast to what we’ve seen in the composition of the SL 1888, which also included the angular tr Sun; and this comes along with both natal Lights in the fore now [as mentioned previously, the Nativity having the Sun opp Saturn, in almost all cases whenever the rx Sun is angular it comes together with the rx Saturn], as well as the natal Jupiter-Mercury-Chiron trio, and the rather simple and explicitly direct further picture-details shown by the SL Moon’s aspect: with transiting Uranus and Venus, and the natal Saturn.

Notice that among the transiting angular factors, tr Jupiter is closest by orb, and from the natal side, it is the rx Moon - and how, among all the chart factors, it is specifically these two (and solely so!) which are mutually tied by a mundane ‘aspect’ formed between the tr and rx planets, and how this --- for the peculiar, clearly biographically known, Native’s major life-experience of the period --- is configured together with the prominence of the transiting Venus, which now is not solely present by the SL-Moon’s aspects-structuring, but by angularity as well!

From the whole of the chart’s composition, we see that by no means was this an “easy time” for Lena, however the tr Jupiter was the strongest-by-orb-angular, and the tr Sun “adorned” with the mundane-conjunction with tr Venus; yet, how she has been dancing-with and responding-to the circumstances of the year included vigorousness and enthusiasm of the nature/quality which otherwise is not a “usual” trait of her character: albeit the rx Moon followed by rx Jupiter are the two strongest-by-orb focalized natal factors, we see here appearing the mundane ‘aspect’-connection of rx Jupiter, Mercury and Mars which form a T-square - a configuration which does not exist in the Natal chart, and which, in addition to that, by the tightness of its orbs here (all three are mutually tied within under 40’ of arc) is being especially emphasized.

During this year, the “hell broke loose” for the Native when it comes to the thus-far taken direction of nesting into a settled-family-life: the husband begun drinking and gambling, we read in the biography, and started behaving violently - sexually included - with Lena; with two children already having been born, the younger of them about a year old during this time, they had to leave Anton’s parental house where they have been living, and many changes of residence ensued.

For a Nativity with Uranus and Eris angular (and these as the only natal angular planets, with Ur being 20’ from WP,  Er 2*27’ from EP, and the two connected by 2*07’ orbed opposition, in longitude), we can expect everything-but a settling-down, a what’s generally considered as a “normal and peaceful” direction of motion, or anything of that sort, whenever even only one of these two features among the rx-angular factors in an annual-period chart (her SL 1918 comes as a nice sharp example of this) - it is the expect-the-unexpected ‘formula’, if we’re to be reckless enough to with-a-single-phrase attempt to formulate it :)  And when the presence of one of these is additionally emphasized by the same transiting factor also angular, and/or one or both (whether tr or rx) in a tight aspect with the period chart’s Moon, we can be sure the given period is bringing a shake-up of the to-be-remembered kind: not only some ”passing excitement”, but a step-into-entirely-different-realm by the Native, an expansion-move life change which does not include merely a re-formulation kind of shift or transition, affecting the distribution or mutual-structuring of the existing-elements within the already-created general framework, but is analogous to an inter-dimensional shift: the New which thus experientially opens up is what’s been entirely outside of the previously at-all-perceived as possible, or otherwise, generally in any way imaginable/conceived-of-as-even-potentially-existing. 

All-considered-together of the “elements” present in an annual-period chart’s configuration, is, of course, what shows the unique specifics of the given chart’s exact composition, with its pertinent tones, each of the prominent-factors’ volume, and the graduation of it all within the whole; but approaching the periods with mindful awareness of the key, most-important Natal-chart themes, as we go with analyzing these charts along with reflecting on them in light of known historical/biographical data, helps us more easily discern the different major frequency-waves within the complex stream-of-clusterings appearing in the longer sequence of the annual period charts.

Here, the natal Uranus is in the fore, while not being among the strongest-by-orb natal factors, and is mundanely (11’-of-arc!) square-configured with the natal Lunar Node, as a unique feature for this chart; and, together with this, we see: the Angle focalizing the transiting combo of Mars and Eris; the strong presence of Mars theme repeated as such by the natal Mars being in tight-orbed aspect with the SL Moon; and the natal Pluto being “put forth” in a double manner, both by its angularity & the orb of it, and the 1*09’ sq with the SL Moon --- and with this, this Moon coming as the sharpest-orbed one single transiting factor, among the tr angularity. --- Whether this be a chart we look at in retro-spect or in pro-spect, with or without knowing any practical details of what’s-transpiring, the chart as such is an astrological “set up” promising, at the very least, a fiery kind of Movement-Change-&-Excitement, the whole pictures speaking not merely of a-stirring, but of an intense burst of some peculiar kind poised-to-come-up, and this with the Native’s most spontaneous manner of their dancing-with the conditions being of the initiative-taking, courageous, piercing and decisiveness-colored quality. 

Yet, note that neither Sun nor Saturn (natal, or transiting) are prominently present in this chart - neither by angularity, nor by an aspect with the SL Moon; the centralizing theme-quality of the inherent Solar-authority, as well as the structuring/organizing/thorough-cleansing theme of the Saturnian, are absent from the “central stage” of what’s focalized during the period: instead of cutting her ties with the abusive Anton at this time, and proceeding - however inevitably harsh that would have come, with the two children as young as they were - with further moving on her own, Lena chose to stay in this relationship, and it was not sooner than about five years thereafter (with their third child having been born in the meantime), during the SL 1909, that the definite clear-cut separation move came to transpire.

Various interesting events took place between the SL 1904 and the next one we’re to examine here - including the Native’s solitary caring for her two daughters whilst scrambling to keep the three of them in existence, becoming entangled into the forgery-of-paintings activity, getting sentenced for “procuration” as well as for “fornication”, and having the daughters taken away from her and put into a “Catholic children’s home”; without having the more specified info online about the months for the key events among these, and to keep within moderate the length of this article, I will leave this period to your own investigation; the SL sequence 1909 - 1911 was the period focalizing the described unfolding.

SL 2/2/1912 (Munich)


This year brought for Lena, at her age 29-into-30, a big and definite turning-of-tides from what has been the moving-trend thus far during the previous about 8 years:
in March 1912, the divorce with Anton Leix was legally finalized, and, having (during the calendar 1911) started to work as a dictation-writer with a local Munich-based archivist and historian Peter Jerusalem (later to be known as Peter Benedix), this relationship developed into them getting married during this SL, and him “inducing her to write down her personal experiences”, which promptly led to [ -- note that this is a Nativity with a Mercury-Jupiter tight opposition, which is tied to Chiron as well!], in September 1912, her debut book coming out; and her daughters came back to her during this year as well.

The complexity of the SL Moon’s aspects of the chart is paired with, on the other side, a rather very-plain simplicity of its angularity: we see it’s a primarily tr-Jupiter & rx-Uranus themed period, with the natal Uranus being the closest-by-orb angular factor, and the tr Jupiter being tightly tied mundanely with the natal Lunar Node. - Whatever the details may be, what colors the whole year in the primary, major way is: the focused presence of the benevolent/protective/supportive environmental-side tidings toward the Native, while their own ingeniousness/originality, the inner radical inherent-freedom-orientation, comes to show up into its focalized expressiveness; and the events related to interpersonal Connections of-Life-importance for them, together with this, are playing, as a theme, a major role during the unfolding of the annual tide, with the primary tone in this being of the Joy-shared/increase-in-Quality (or simply, perceptible-improvement in pleasure, comfort, or ease) kind.

 
Attentive examination of the aspects of the SL Moon here, along with considering what the dSL chart shows, pertinent to the period when her first book was published (September 1912), and being aware of the central tones and qualities of the Natal chart itself as such, easily reveals that by no means this “fortunate turn” came as some kind of “by-a-grace-from-above” striking of “luck” for the Natus: it came as a period of Fruition, a culmination-phase of the slowly maturing experiential processes, which have necessitated the Native’s own hard work and effort through each step/sub-phase of it, during the whole of her life thus far, so that at the time of her first Saturn’s Return these specific conditions and the events-sequence came to unfold, rather than something else.

Hardly anything can be more fitting a description, in the simplest astrological terms, of the coming-into-prominence, emerging as an individual with some of own very unique, distinguished capacities, sharply to the popular-knowledge & attention of the public eyes, as the angular combination set-up of the pair of the transiting both Lights, together with the natal both Lights!

The style and contents of this first book written & published, from what we can see from the internet biography account, was marked by the, characteristic for the Nativity, Sun opp Saturn and with the natal angular Uranus-Eris flavor to it: “In it she portrayed in unusually drastic words her life, the shattered relationship with her mother and the human and sexual tragedies of her marriage. […] The book was not initially successful, but was praised by literary critics […]”

Following the SL 1912, continued writing ensued, with the books that came out during 1914 and 1915 drawing a greater degree of public attention and Lena thereafter becoming established as a literary author, not solely within the more immediate community but within the wider German-speaking area; she was invited to an audience with King Ludwig III in 1915, and in 1916 received the Ludwigskreuz as the Royal Court Institution’s token of appreciation for her writing work.

During 1917, with Peter having been army-conscripted to Landshut since 1915, she has decided to join him, has “disbanded her household in Munich” and herself moved there as well - but the conditions have not been developing well, and instead, she “fell ill of tuberculosis and depression”, we read in the biography. This was the onset of the final three years of her life, which ended on June 30th 1920, in Munich.

The SL 1918 period brought an intense and dramatic unfolding, and I hope you won’t miss to examine the chart on your own, in light of the known life events (that chart has set in Landshut).

Having previously left Landshut, and the embittered Peter (with whom formally separated in autumn of 1918, yet remained in contact), and having returned to Munich, enamored with the newly met Ludwig Schmidt and engaged in, what was from her side perceived as, romantic connection moving-into-partnership with him, this year’s tide brought a quick and sharp disillusionment cut: Ludwig, for whom, as it turned out, she was “just one affair among the many”, left her. -- Observe the exact specific combo of what transiting, and what natal, planets are angular in this SL !!!

The whole chart, as the final SL for the Native whose death has been classified as a “suicide”, and the actual details of related practical, immediate circumstances got to be somewhat more clearly revealed no sooner than 20 years thereafter - is indeed remarkable.
We see the Eris-Sedna angular together while also tightly interconnected, from the Natal side here - conjunct in Right Ascension with mere 5-minutes-of-arc orb! (An aspect which does not exist in the natal, nor are the two mutually otherwise connected within the radix-context) -- the duo characteristically appearing as prominent in the final charts (across different “categories”) for events of death to which the phrase “under mysterious circumstances” in some way gets to be attached as a descriptor.

The transiting-angular trio of Venus, Chiron and Pluto, each of them under 1*20’ from a major angle, are mutually tied by a mundane T-square-structuring, all of it interconnected within under 50’ of orb!  The transiting Sedna - the fourth tr angular factor, of the four of them in total - is connected very tightly with the natal Venus, opp 1*03’ m -- an aspect as such which has not been operative as a transit-to-natal at the time, and which uniquely appears (and so while both of these are on Angles) within the context of this chart.  And, with the whole of this angularity picture exactly as it is, we see the SL Moon’s dynamic planetary-‘involvement’ by aspect via only one single such connection - not more, not less (i.e. none), but precisely this “much” and precisely with this planet, among the total of planets from the SL chart and the Radix chart - the 54’-orbed quintile natal Saturn !!

We learn from the biography that, together-with and within-context-of, the romantic/emotional turmoil of the circumstances, Lena was at this time living within conditions of stark material hardship; with one daughter ~ 17 years old, and the other ~ 14, the matters-of-bare-existence financial pressure pushed her into resorting to an essentially harmless, yet nevertheless illegal, activity of signing “valueless” paintings with the names of well-known painters and selling these; it came to the knowledge of the local law-authorities, and during this quarter she was in the situation of facing the potential imprisonment sentence.

- Note the combination of the five closest-by-orb angular planets in the qSL chart (with marking the distinction between what’s the Environmental-side, and what’s the from-Nativity-side in it), as well as the two partile mundane-aspects configurations formed among them!


It is within this context that the final weeks of Lena’s life transpired.

Observe how the planetary combinations with their specific clusterings, present by angularity here,  flow, from one into the next, in the sequence of these by-weekly planetary picture-configurations.

The LS 5/2, dLS 5/17 and LS 5/30 charts, each, have the transiting duo of Jupiter-Neptune in the fore, and this coming combined with the presence of a natal Light (or the pair of them); the details and peculiar configurations, of course, have been shifting, from one bi-weekly period to the next, yet this one theme has been present throughout the six weeks prior to the very final 17 days of Native’s life: something which is elating, perhaps misguiding them, certainly with a component of projected-imagery/illusions to it, whilst also hopes/dreams-inciting, has been from the side of the environment prominently present, affecting the primary tone of their day-to-day experience, and this coming paired with a vitally-important faculty of their own psyche (a Luminary) being focalized in expressiveness.

Then the dLS 6/13 set, bringing forth an entirely different tone: natal Pluto 48’ from MC as the single most-intensely- focalized one among the angular factors, and this within the whole composition of:
tr Uranus-Saturn and Eris on angles, along with rx Pluto, Mercury-Jupiter, Uranus-Node;
and the LS’s Sun “channeling” (or: conducting, transmitting - via its longitudinal-position connection with their Direct Midpoint) the ergie-combinations of: tr Saturn/Chiron, tr Uranus/Chiron, and the rx Mars/Pluto! [ --- the same her natal direct Midpoint with which Peter’s rx Saturn is involved, as one of the key, strongest-by-orb, interchange-contacts between their two charts …. and, as it became known only decades later after her death, it was his “benevolent help” of providing her with the cyanide that made her departure at this time & in such specific way possible.]
-- The whole picture of the chart indicates it was during these two weeks, between 6/13 and 6/26, that her internal tides shifted from what was a vital-openness-of-engagement into a definite-withdrawal orientation; an inner turn-away-from-the-unbearable-brutality-of-conditions decision was made and, within the environmental quality of tidings favorable for it as these have been, what the period of the LS 6/26 brought about was simply - the execution; note the specific angular planetary factors in this chart (the very final LS), and how the rx Mars and Uranus were not only brought-to-the-fore, but with a mundane-square connection as well, all with the details that the LS Sun’s involvement with the Direct Midpoints and the planets, from both tr and the rx side, shows!

The whole list of Transits to Natal is always useful to see, however not everything in it is about something in Native’s experience we can explicitly know about.  With consideration of what are the orbs, and whether it’s applying or separating, as well as taking note of factors which appear here repeating what we’ve also seen as pronounced in either the period charts, and/or the Progressions, or as prominently important factors in the Natal itself, this --- at first glance perhaps seeming as “too much details” --- practice of previewing in this way the full list of Tr-to-Rx for a given day, enables one over time to start noticing patterns that otherwise easily tend to entirely escape the scope of the astrologer’s perception.

Here, among other factors which are quite obvious in the context of what we know about the experience on & around this day for this Natus, what is of interest to note is the two-way Mercury-Chiron connection, which, with the tr Mercury’s speed of motion, is a factor very uniquely pertinent to exactly this day in the sequence of days surrounding it, during this period --- and with this combination, the Me-Chi as pair, so often showing up in a prominent way in the suicide cases which include the necessity of  refined, dexterous application of skill in some or another specific way as an aspect of their execution-process.
